Our passion is cooking and food, in particular locally sourced produce, which Cumbria has in abundance. Whether it's fresh caught salmon, local game, lamb from the fells, hand made cheeses or vegetables from local growers (sometimes our own garden) we are skilled at combining food and flavours to produce tasty breakfasts (you must try our award winning marmalade) and gourmet evening meals.

Our three
course menus are changed to incorporate seasonal produce. See an example
menu.
As we are licensed you can choose from a small wine list for a glass of something
delicious to accompany your evening meal then retire to the drawing room
for coffee and a warming liqueur.
